Police interrogated former governor of Bali Wayan Koster

Officers from the Special Crime Investigation Unit of the Bali police (Ditreskrimsus) interrogated the former head of the province,Wayan Koster. Some sources claim that the former governor of Bali is suspected of corruption. However, there is no official confirmation of this version.

Koster himself refused to comment when questioned by journalists after speaking with investigators.
The head of the public relations department of the regional Bali police, Police Commissioner Jansen Avitus Pandjaitan, declined to explain the details of the case, in which Koster is a participant, citing the secrecy of the investigation.
He only confirmed that Ditreskrimsus interrogated the former governor,and stated that the police would disclose the conclusions of the investigation once it is complete.
A representative of law enforcement agencies refused to answer whether the interrogation is related to suspicions of corruption by Koster.
Wayan Koster is perhaps the most well-known Indonesian official among expats. He has made headlines for his uncompromising stance towards Israel and its athletes, leading Indonesia to lose two major international sporting events. The country's financial losses due to Bali's former governor's actions are estimated to be tens of millions of dollars!
