Karma Kandara Beach

A small beach at the foot of a cliff. It is located near the beach clubs Karma Kandara and Sundays (a little further and with its own luxurious beach. Along the edges of the beach there are small caves and stones that provide shelter from the sun.

The waves crash on a reef that is far from the shore. The depth is good. But be careful: sometimes there are rocks underwater and you can hit them. Fortunately, the water is clear and such areas are still visible on the surface of the water. The water is clear and calm.

The beach is perfectly clean. Even during the rainy season.

There are three ways to get to the beach

1) for guests of the Karma Kandara hotel there is a funicular, which they use free of charge. If you pay 550,000 rupees, you can use this funicular and use 300,000 rupees of the money paid at the Karma Kandara beach club. Or pay 200,000 rupees just for the cable car.

2) there is also a staircase of 300 steps leading down from the parking lot.

3) also AT LOW TIDE the beach can be reached in 5-10 minutes from Melasti Beach located to the east. There is a road leading down to Melasti, which you can take by bike or car.

These are mainly visitors to the beach club, but there are also guests from outside, but not so many.

There is no charge for parking. Funicular 200,000 rupees per person.

If you wish and have a free budget, you can use the infrastructure of the Karma Beach beach club. Or the neighboring Sundays beach club.
