Jack Johnson is coming to Bali in 2025 for an intimate event held at Uluwatu Surf Villas on the Bukit Peninsula. The singer rose to fame for his smooth acoustic sound that became the voice of early 2000s surf culture. He gained popularity after the release of the surf film The September Sessions, where he performed some of his first songs.
In addition to his music, Johnson is well known as an environmental advocate and promoter of eco-friendly tours. You may not immediately recognize his name or song titles, but chances are you’ve heard his music — for good reason: his songs have gathered tens of millions of streams.
The star will perform for a limited audience, so those wishing to attend should act quickly. Jack Johnson will perform in Bali on June 18, 2025, and it will be a one-night-only show, with fewer than 1,000 tickets available.
The organizers shared:
“We’ve dreamed of inviting Jack as both a guest and performer for over 15 years, and now the dream is finally coming true. Jack will perform a solo concert right on the cliffside overlooking the majestic waves of Uluwatu.”
They’ve also prepared some surprises: the evening will include a special screening of The September Sessions, filmed on 16mm and newly restored in 4K. Shot entirely in Indonesian waters, the film features his friends Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Brad Gerlach, Shane Dorian, Ross Williams, and Luke Egan, and captures some of the most iconic surf moments of that generation.
The organizers concluded:
“This event isn’t just about the music — it’s about bringing people together in one of the most breathtaking places on Earth, under the stars, above the waves, to share something truly unforgettable.”
Tickets are now available via Megatix. Prices are IDR 2,205,000 for adults and IDR 815,000 for children aged 5–12. Food and drinks will be available throughout the evening, and the event will be held entirely outdoors, rain or shine.
Seating will be first-come, first-served, so guests are encouraged to bring a blanket, towel, or cushion to enjoy a cozy evening.
