Hilltop Overlooking the Sea on the Route from Amed to Tulamben

If you're on the lookout for picturesque spots around Amed, this location is a must-visit. It's perfect for capturing the sunrise. However, be aware that by 8 AM, the sun's brightness can be overpowering and may affect the quality of your photos.

How to get there:

To reach this location, take a side road off the main route here and drive approximately 200 meters towards the sea until you reach a junction.

If you turn right at the junction and head uphill, you'll reach a small platform where a building is currently under construction, with its concrete framework already in place. From this vantage point, you'll be treated to breath-taking views of the ocean, Amed, and the lush green expanse of meadows and forests.

Additionally, note that turning left at the junction will lead you down a steeply descending asphalt path directly to the beach. Despite the rocky terrain, this beach remains suitable for swimming.
