Herons in the village of Petulu

I recently visited a village called Petulu, located not far from Ubud.

At sunset, you can observe an amazing phenomenon here - hundreds of herons return to their nests and occupy all the trees along the village.

In a small warung in the middle of the rice fields, you can be given binoculars to observe the life of these amazing birds.
