For good physical well-being, it is recommended that a person should drink at least eight glasses of water a day, especially in a tropical hot climate. Both regular and mineral water can be used for drinking. They may look the same, but they are actually two different types. Regular water comes from natural sources, rivers, lakes, or from wells and household taps, and it needs to be boiled before consumption.

Mineral water in Bali is sourced from volcanic mountain springs, rich in natural minerals. Compared to regular water, mineral water is more beneficial for the body because it is rich in essential nutrients such as zinc, iron, calcium, and magnesium. It reduces blood pressure, improves the circulatory system, strengthens bones and teeth. However, it is considered undesirable to drink only mineral water constantly; it depends on the individual's body.

The quality of water is described using the "pH" value, which characterizes the quality of water. It measures the activity of hydrogen ions in a solution, quantitatively expressing its acidity, how acidic or alkaline a substance is. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. Mineral water has an acidity level or pH ranging from 6 to 8.5, while regular water has a pH range of 5 to 7.5.

- Le Minerale is produced from selected mountain sources, giving it a distinctive freshness and a slightly sweet taste.

- AQUA is a brand of bottled drinking water produced since 1973, now owned by Danone. In addition to Indonesia, it is also sold in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. They obtain water from mountain sources. Rainwater enters the mountains and is absorbed into deep soil layers, undergoing natural mineralization. Therefore, the water is enriched with minerals present in the rock formations it passes through.

Very often, gallons of Aqua are sold with regular water that has been passed through filters. Check the cap; if it's sealed, it means it's not an original product. This applies to other brands as well. You may see small stalls on the streets where gallons are refilled; you can bring any container, and this water is also clean and suitable for consumption.

Cleo produces clean water using advanced filtration technology with ultra-thin membranes. This process removes harmful inorganic minerals, making the water 20 times purer. That's why clean water is also called demineralized.

Balian is a certified natural mineral water that is extracted and bottled right on the slopes of the sacred Mount Agung in a protected natural environment. Bottled mineral water sold on the market essentially contains regular water that has undergone a process of treatment and packaging.
