Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfall
On Bali, there are numerous waterfalls, and sometimes it's challenging to decide which one to visit, especially if you're constrained by vacation time.
But if you prefer less crowded and popular tourist spots, you might enjoy the Banyu Wana Amertha waterfall. It is still relatively undiscovered.
The beginning of the road to the waterfall is marked by a sign. Donations are accepted at the entrance to the waterfall.
On the path to the waterfall, construction of stairs is still ongoing, so you may encounter local villagers working along the way.
The waterfall is approximately a 20-minute walk away. Down below, you can find two waterfalls. Locals mention that there are three more waterfalls in the vicinity, but they are currently inaccessible for visitors.
The first waterfall remotely resembles Nung-Nung. Here, too, there is a bamboo bridge across the stream flowing from the pool at the base of the waterfall.
The second waterfall looks quite unique. Water bursts out from the mountain rock and cascades down.
A good time to visit the waterfall is in the early morning, around 9 - 11 am.
This waterfall is convenient to visit while traveling to or from North Bali.
Nearby attractions include Lake Buyan, the viewpoint between Lake Buyan and Lake Tamblingan, Banyumala Waterfall, Chinta Waterfall, Champuhan Waterfall, and the Wanagiri Hidden Hill photography spot.
