"Somatic", from the Greek word sōma, means "body." In yoga and movement practices, somatic refers to focusing on how movement feels rather than how it looks.
Somatic Yoga Flow is soft and slow, inviting you to listen to your body through fluid movement. Explore how your body feels with intuitive movement and non-linear yoga.
Developing sensitivity to sensation cultivates interoception—your capacity to sense yourself from within. By consciously tuning into physical sensations, the insula—a part of the brain—processes this input, integrating it with emotions and thoughts. This deepens self-awareness, enhances emotional regulation, and increases body awareness.
In this style of practice, you follow what feels nourishing and needed as your body unwinds and you listen. You will leave feeling softer, stronger, and more connected to your body’s innate wisdom.
