The Rip Curl Cup Padang Padang opening ceremony begins at 16:00 on 1 August on Padang Padang Beach.

The programme includes introductions to the invited surfers, a press conference, a traditional Balinese Kecak performance and live music by Floodlights. The main competition will run on the best wave day between 1 and 31 August.
