If you’ve visited the Desa recently, you’ll see that our bamboo entranceway, otherwise known as The Womb, is now hosting the Waste Centre. The Waste Centre is our in-house recycling facility; a space where you can watch our waste transform into beautiful objects.

If you’d like to learn even more about our waste management, register for our waste tour. You’ll be taken behind the curtain at Potato Head, walking through the back-of-house and seeing first hand how we collect, sort and process our waste.

Then, explore the art of using natural dyes made from locally sourced plants like indigo, marigold, and coconut waste. Bring a spare shirt from home or use one of our linen waste tote bags to breathe new life into old fabrics while learning this hands-on, sustainable craft.
