A vegan café that opened in March 2018 has become incredibly popular in Ubud. What's the secret? They have taken vegan cuisine to a new, higher level. No longer just colorful vegetable bowls, vibrant hummus, gluten-free bread, quinoa salads, and chia pudding.
They opted out of using expensive imported products.
Their concept is using only local and seasonal vegetables, fruits, roots, shoots, greens, and herbs, combining these ingredients considering their benefits, nutritional value, and taste combinations.
The menu is entirely vegan and plant-based, using organic plant ingredients, free of meat/fish, eggs, and dairy products. The abundance of Asian nature provides everything needed: turmeric and galangal roots, sweet potato and cassava tubers, pandan and moringa herbs, soursop, durian, and jackfruit - the true forest doctors.
