Expats are helping clean up Bali from plastic waste
In recent years, many expatriates living in Bali have initiated efforts to clean up the island from plastic waste.
The fire at the massive Suwung landfill continues. The smell and smoke are spreading to many areas of the island, including Sanur, Denpasar, Kuta, and, according to some reports, even Canggu.
The store offers disposable tableware, laundry detergents, and other types of household chemicals.
Small household appliances are not available.
Garbage bags and compact storage containers are in stock. Food and alcohol are also for sale.
Non-organic waste from Bali’s capital will be collected every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. On the other days—Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday—special trucks will pick up organic waste.
