Bali residents complain about a shortage of Pertamax fuel at several gas stations.
The issue has affected Denpasar, Badung, and especially the southern regions of the island, where some stations have completely stopped selling Pertamax, continuing to offer only subsidized Pertalite.
From 10 June, Pertamina increased the price of Pertamax fuel (octane rating: 92). In Bali, Java, Madura and Nusa Tenggara, a litre now costs 16,250 rupiah.
Before the increase, Pertamax was sold for 12,300 rupiah per litre. The rise is 3,950 rupiah, or around 32%.
