This waterfall is not very popular among tourists, so there are no crowds, annoying beggars, or guides. It is located 45 kilometers from Denpasar, and getting there is not as difficult as it may initially seem.
Along the way, you will encounter picturesque landscapes - rice fields and terraces, coffee and clove plantations, entire fields of blooming marigolds that cover the slopes of volcanoes like a carpet. The Badung Regency administration only recently began promoting the waterfall as a promising tourist destination - in 1996. They improved the road, built pleasant cafes, added signs, made the path to the waterfall beautiful and convenient, and constructed a bridge.
