The kindergarten is located on the outskirts of Ubud, the cultural and artistic center of Bali.
The school staff are trained in Waldorf education.
Teaching is primarily in English with some Indonesian.
Children participate in all local Balinese Hindu festivals, such as Galungan.
The main idea of the Waldorf method is that a child develops their natural abilities in a comfortable environment, free from fear, stress, and evaluation. Early development is not encouraged in Waldorf schools.
It is believed that a child should first mature emotionally before beginning intellectual development.
According to educators, a child learns better through work and creative activities rather than sitting at a desk from bell to bell.
