Gitgit Waterfall is one of the best-known waterfalls in North Bali, located in the Buleleng area. People like it because it is relatively easy to reach: from the parking area, the walk is quite short, and the path itself is not too difficult. The waterfall is tall and surrounded by dense greenery, rocks, and cool humid air, so the place feels natural and very characteristic of Bali.
It is a good stop on the way to the north of the island or as part of a route that includes Lovina, Bedugul, or Munduk. Most people come here not for a long hike, but for a scenic nature spot, photos, and a chance to see a quieter side of Bali. It is better to come early in the day, when there are fewer people and the walk is more pleasant.
