This memorial honors the victims of the bomb explosion in Kuta on October 12, 2002.
The disaster took place on Legian Street, opposite the intersection with Poppies II Street. The explosions resulted in the deaths of 202 people, including 88 Australians, 38 Indonesians, and over 20 other nationalities. An additional 209 people were injured.
