If you're just starting to find your way around Bali's roads and want a bike that's easy to get along with, take a look at the Honda Vario 125 Street.
It's an updated version of the popular Vario, but with a completely different character.
An exposed handlebar, sharp body lines, bright details and coloured wheels make it look like a small sports motorcycle. At the same time, it keeps everything people love about the classic Vario: compact size, fuel efficiency and easy handling.
Behind the eye-catching looks is a thoroughly practical scooter. The 125 cc engine is enough for getting around the island, the automatic transmission means you don't have to change gears, and at just 112 kg it's easy to manoeuvre and park. The Street version has a wider, higher handlebar, which makes the riding position more comfortable.
There are some nice little extras too: a digital instrument panel, keyless access, USB charging and an 18-litre storage compartment with room for a raincoat and your essentials.
The Honda Vario 125 Street is especially well suited to beginner riders with basic skills, as well as to those who prefer compact scooters and usually ride alone. For long trips with a passenger, especially if the rider is tall, it's better to choose a roomier model, such as the Yamaha NMax.
