A jet ski safari fits easily into almost any day in Bali.
You can opt for a half-hour ride or spend several hours on the water — the routes start from Serangan harbour and follow the island's southern coast.
The shortest one stays within the waters around Serangan. Here you can get the hang of a jet ski, ride along the mangroves and see the Bali Mandara toll road, which runs right over the water.
The longer routes get more interesting. A longer ride takes you along the Bukit peninsula and Nusa Dua, while the three-hour safari goes as far as Uluwatu. From the water you get a clear view of the sheer cliffs and the temple perched on top — a completely different perspective from the usual viewpoints.
