Unb'rocken

We're thrilled to announce that the Balinese blues rock band Unb'rocken will be gracing the stage at Hatch!

Formed in 2013 by Garenk and Komang, Unb'rocken is a celebration of their shared love for music. In 2022, they were joined by their talented friend Angga Wilan on drums, with Dion Yohanes often accompanying them on bass.

Starting out in local pubs around Bali, they covered classics from B.B. King to Jimi Hendrix, showcasing their diverse musical influences. They gained recognition at venues like Jazz Cafe and Laughing Buddha Bar, as well as various music festivals across the island.

Unb'rocken's debut album, released in 2018, blends soulful blues and rock with a touch of Balinese sounds, reflecting their roots in Bali's vibrant artistic community.

"We're deeply inspired by the blues, but we're also open to exploring different genres. Our goal is creative freedom, allowing each member to shine," says Garenk.
