As an indigenous member of this community, photographer David Diaz Gonzalez shares his world of the Shipibo-Konibo, an indigenous people who have inhabited the Amazon rainforests along the Ucayali River for over 1000 years, through his lens. They are known for their profound ethnobotanical knowledge, remarkable medical practices, and iconic Kene patterns, which embody their cosmology, spirituality, and holistic philosophy celebrating consciousness and harmony between people, spirits, energies, and the universe.
