Dj WaxFiend from Amsterdam belongs to the top Urban/Dancehall DJ’s in Holland. He has rocked almost every club and venue in Holland (Paradiso, Off Corso, Bozzini, Jimmy Woo etc)⁠

What started in 2000 as a hobby of a HipHop-fanatic that used to make mixtapes from radio recordings, expanded into his way of life. The addiction really started from when he bought his first turntable. From then all his money and time went into practicing his mixing and turntablism skills and studying and buying music on vinyl, hence the name WaxFiend⁠

His own event, Jamrock, started in 2005 and has grown to be Europe’s biggest Dancehall/Reggae party! ⁠

All this work was not left unnoticed as WaxFiend has been nominated for several awards including the dutch MOBO-Award, and the Urban Awards by BNN⁠
