"Music of the Stars" with Edoardo Striani

"Music of the Stars" is a fascinating journey through the cosmos presented by award-winning astrophysicist and international master artist Dr. Edoardo Striani. Combining these two passions, the show is designed to educate, entertain and inspire awe of our incredible universe. Topics touched upon will be the birth and death of stars and their relationship to our existence, accompanied by ethereal live music and high-definition video footage of the universe. There will also be ample time for questions from the audience at the end.

Edoardo Striani is an astrophysicist, musician and science communicator from Italy. He majored in physics with a thesis on dark matter and did his doctoral dissertation on the variability of the gamma-ray emission of the Crab Nebula, a discovery that earned him the Bruno Rossi Prize from the American Astronomical Society. Since 2012, he has become a recognized figure in the international community of musicians and has shared the beauty of the instrument with thousands of people by organizing master classes in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and Russia.
