In January we traveled the world, exploring different cultures and reflecting on life on this planet and being inspired by amazing people! This Monday, we're taking a cool twist - micro-traveling to a tiny corner of an Airbnb home, discovering the quirky and fun life of charming Marseille! ❤️

🐚 So, who is Marcel!!! 🤔

📖 Marcel is a tiny 1 inch tall, shell-shaped creature with shoes on. Adorable, clean, quirky and very creative! He lives in an Airbnb home with his grandmother Connie and their "pet pile" Alan (😂). A new tenant/filmmaker discovers Marcel and decides to make a documentary about him. The short film, posted on the internet, quickly goes viral, bringing millions of passionate fans and unexpected danger, as well as new hope of finding Marcel's long-lost family.

🎥 Seven years in the making, another interesting feature of the movie is that it's a mocumentary movie (like the TV series The Office)! It tells a fictional story in a documentary format, using interviews, narration and hand-held camerawork, which gives the fictional story more authenticity and realism!!!

🏆 At the age of 31, this director's debut feature film was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe and won a total of 39 awards worldwide!
