In this group handpan workshop, participants will learn the basics of playing the handpan while enjoying a relaxing and meditative experience. The handpan’s gentle sounds make it ideal for anyone looking to explore music in a calm and mindful way. Designed for beginners, no previous experience is necessary—just bring yourself and an open mind!
During the session, you will discover simple handpan techniques, including how to touch the instrument, play scales, create chord progressions, and incorporate percussive elements. We’ll also practice singing along, assigning different musical roles to each participant, similar to an orchestra. This collaborative approach allows everyone to contribute, fostering a strong sense of connection and teamwork as we create beautiful music together.
This class is not just about learning the instrument; it’s also an opportunity to unwind and be present in the moment. The handpan’s soothing tones, combined with the group dynamic, help release stress and enhance the shared experience of making music. By the end of the session, you will leave not only with new skills but also feeling more relaxed and refreshed.
Join us for a unique journey where music, mindfulness, and community come together in a peaceful and supportive environment. This is the perfect opportunity for beginners to explore the handpan.
