Hosted at the iconic Seminyak venue, Motel Mexicola is reuniting 10 of the world’s legends of

flair bartending for a night of jaw-to-the-floor flair and the chance to take home $15,000 USD in

prizes.

10 flair legends walk into Motel Mexicola Seminyak - the rest might just be history. In a rare

sharing of the main stage, Flair Mundial brings the best in the world out of retirement for a last

dance. Kicking off at 6 PM on November 7, the one-night-only comp is one of world-class

techniques and calibre; think flying bottles of tequila, rolling shakers and intricate cocktail

presentations where the winner takes all.

With a list of accolades longer than the tequila list, the all-star lineup is coming in hot for a show

the island has never seen - and will likely never forget. Competing for the main prize are

Julianna Buda (Hungary), Ayako Ollie Kumashiro (Japan), Luca Valentin (Romania), Rodrigo

Delpech (Argentina), Tom Dyer (UK), Gianluigi Bosco (Italy), Alexander Shtifanov (Russia),

Rafael Arce (France), Danilo Oribe (Uruguay) and Motel Mexicola’s own G.O.A.T in residence,

Denny Bakiev (Ukraine). Having collectively defined the nature of flair, the precursor to the

mixology competitions of today, their highly influential style brings habanero-style spice to the

scene and it’s all for your viewing pleasure.

“It’s super sentimental in a way, this lineup has inspired a whole generation of bartenders,” says

Denny Bakiev, Motel Mexicola’s Group Beverage Director. “I started flaring in 2008, looking at

these guys as idols. In many ways, this is my tribute to the art of flair and the greats that

inspired me.”

Showcasing the moves that have earned them a reputation around the globe, each bartender

will have six minutes to shine in a personality-heavy performance you’ll want to put your tacos

down for. On the judging panel are the renowned Andy Collinson (UK), Christian Delpech

(Argentina), Szabolcs Szoke (Hungary) and Marco Canova (Italy.) Stephen Harman of the UK is

on MC duties - steering the ship in what will be worthwhile entertainment in itself. Of course, it
