Guided by spiritual teachers and healers, this journey includes a discourse on the context of Balinese Hinduism, a meditative connection with the nine divinities through an oracle session, and a sacred coconut water blessing to purify and realign your energy.

SCHEDULE

11.00-13.00: Journey to The Yogi’s Garden: We will meet at The Yoga Barn, and together take the 1-hour drive to the Garden. Transport is inclusive with your admission ticket.

13.00-14.00: Snacks: Try some plant-based local snacks accompanied by traditional Balinese music. Take a walk around the gardens and its fields.

14.00-16.00: Lecture on Balinese Hinduism by Dr.Ravinjay: This talk will introduce the fundamental Balinese worldview, into their life of rituals and customs. You will be introduced to the history of Hinduism and how it made its way to the islands.

16.00-17.00: Meditation and Oracle by Yana: Follow along a simple guided meditation to honor the Nine Directional Gods that exist in the universe, and within your body. Complete your meditation with a Deity Oracle card for further guidance.

17.00-18.00: Coconut Blessing by Jero Laksmi: “Melukat” is a water blessing done by the Balinese to purifying oneself. This Melukat can be done at natural springs, sacred waterfalls, beaches, at temples and also with a coconut. The small yellow coconuts are used in traditional medicine, thought to posses magical powers to rid oneself of negative energy.

18.00-19.00: Return to The Yoga Barn Ubud: We will take you back to The Yoga Barn with our transport service.

WHAT TO PREPARE Transport, refreshments, flowers, coconuts and even sarongs are all provided for you. It is advisable to bring an extra t-shirt, just in case it gets too wet from the coconut water blessing.

WHO ARE WE

Dr. Ravinjay is a lecturer on Hinduism and Buddhism, and has spent the last 10 years studying religion and philosophy in Europe and Indonesia. He is Indonesian of Indian ancestry, and has lived in Bali for over 10 years. 

Yana Berliani has been an avid tarot reader for the last 7 years. Originally from Ubud, she seeks to help others by fulfilling her calling to help others. She sees Tarot as a healing tool for self-discovery, a journey we all must take for ourselves.

Since birth, Jero Laksmi has been gifted to communicate with the unseen forces and to guide the living in fulfilling their lives of obligations and ripening Karma. She is a traditional Balinese healer, originally from Ubud, now staying with her family near Kintamani. Her life is dedicated to healing people through ceremonies, medicinal herbs, or by liaising with ancestral spirits.
