Asa Kusumah

No stranger to the music scene in Jakarta, Asa started out as part of the #aboutwax collective, known for bringing together genre-bending beats that tip left of mainstream.

Favouring eclectic underground tunes on the dance floor, and possessed with a well-travelled and inquisitive mind, they are a selector unbound by genres; from bringing the roof down at underground parties to crafting the ambiance of a Sunday session at the garden, Asa is known for feeling out and forming the right vibe for any given moment.

Skeletale

Skeletale developed her sound as a DJ and producer with a curation that transcends time: from proto-house and italo disco to darker EBM and new wave.

An accomplished shapeshifter, she crosses the boundaries between fashion and music effortlessly, DJing for high fashion houses as well as sharing the decks with artists and collectives like Shubostar, Tayhana, and Cakeshop Seoul.

In 2022 she co-founded Club Vixxxen, a genre-bending club night showcasing femme talents where dressing up is encouraged and self-expression is mandatory. Her first foray into producing was “True Visage” in 2024, heavily inspired by the sensual and sleazy sound of italo disco while toes the line of Hi-NRG cheese somewhere between nostalgia and the future.
