Fifty-seven years after surviving a deadly alien attack, Ripley reluctantly returns to a hostile moon with a squad of elite marines where communication with a terraforming colony has been lost. When they arrive, they find disturbing signs of an alien attack, but not a single body of colonists. Reality soon confirms Ripley's worst fears: sleeping alien eggs, strange hosts in cocoons, and aliens ready to implant parasitic embryos.
