Adir 2024

Following the success of two previous editions, we're delighted to announce the return of our Artist Designer In Residence (ADIR) program for the third time! We're eager to continue fostering a rich creative dialogue between French design and Balinese craftsmanship through a collaboration involving @franceenindonesie, @ifi_indonesia, and @cushcush_bali. During this residency, a French designer will immerse themselves in Bali's vibrant culture and skilled crafts for a month. They'll delve into the daily life of the Balinese people, explore the island's traditional techniques, and work with natural materials. The culmination of their residency will be the creation of a collection of objects inspired by this immersive experience. At CCG, we value knowledge-sharing and fostering opportunities for learning and exchange. As part of this, the designer will embark on a week-long roadshow, sharing their creative journey with diverse audiences and communities in Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Bandung, and Jakarta.
