10th World Water Forum 2024

The World Water Forum stands as the largest global assembly in the water sector, bringing together diverse stakeholders and jointly hosted by the World Water Council and a designated city. This significant gathering occurs triennially, commencing since 1997. Beyond a mere conference, the Forum encompasses a meticulous three-year preparatory phase, followed by a week-long event phase, culminating in the synthesis phase where outcomes are presented, with ongoing support for collective initiatives. Attracting participants from various spheres including politics, multilateral institutions, academia, civil society, and the private sector, among others, the Forum has witnessed exponential growth in attendance, evolving from a modest assembly to a confluence of tens of thousands, representing both the international community and host nations. Scheduled from May 18th to 24th, 2024, the forthcoming Forum will convene heads of state, international organization leaders, high-ranking government officials, experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and economists worldwide. They will converge to exchange insights, experiences, and best practices across a diverse spectrum of water-related topics.
