Mertasari Beach

Open 24/7, no days off
Type of place
A quiet suburb of Denpasar.
This is one of the few areas in Bali with sidewalks, making it a popular choice for retirees or families with children.
A long promenade runs along the coast and is divided into two zones: one for cyclists and the other for pedestrians.
The Sanur promenade stretches 5-6 km in length.
The route passes by resort hotels and cafes. On the eastern side of the Sanur promenade, you can see Mount Agung and the island of Nusa Penida.
You can start your walking or cycling route from any beach entrance and move in either direction. Stop for a fresh, cool coconut at this charming cafe in the middle of the route Nelayan Bali.
The best option is to start from Mertasari Beach and walk directly to Pantai Segara Ayu Beach or to the very end of the promenade - Sanur Beach.
