Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic system combining breathing, movement, stretching, postures, meditation, the use of sound and rhythm, relaxation and meditation. Each class includes pranayama, a sequence of postures for specific effects, relaxation and meditation. Kundalini Yoga has its origin in India but was brought to North America in 1968. The wide variety of exercises and meditations utilized in Kundalini Yoga can be adapted to address specific health applications.
Practising Kundalini Yoga creates vitality in the body, balance in the mind, and openness in the Spirit. It also balances the glandular system, boosts the immune system, strengthens the nervous system, purifies the blood and expands the lungs capacity. Kundalini Yoga will help you develop the ability to see the unseen, to know the Unknown.
A typical 90-minutes Kundalini Yoga class
• Tune in with “opening mantra” & “protection mantra” (optional)
• Warm Up: Pranayama, short kriya & asanas to awaken the spine
• Kriya (yoga set)
• Final relaxation
• Meditation – With or without mantra
• Closing: closing prayer, prayer, affirmation, inspirational quote

Born and raised in Bali, Savitri Devi is the first KRI Professional Teacher Trainer of Indonesian origin and Level 3 Kundalini Yoga teacher (2022). Her classes are student-centered, safe and holistic, suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners looking to deepen their practice. Deeply rooted in yogic traditions, she weaves the physical & philosophical aspects of Yoga with daily spiritual practice, making this ancient wisdom applicable for today’s lifestyle.
Savitri Devi has facilitated workshops, retreats, and Hatha & Kundalini Yoga teacher training programs internationally. As a wellness & life coach, doula and Reiki Master Teacher, she is passionate about inspiring others to make healthy, life-affirming choices and empowering them to find their own gateways to wholeness. Previously, Savitri Devi was a teacher in the public education system in Indonesia and in Canada.
