This is an introduction to the basics and fundamentals of the vast design system and philosophy of permaculture. Through an informative and engaging talk, we will learn what distinguishes the permaculture approach from typical organic gardening. Bodhi will also offer practical ideas we can apply at home and see the effectiveness of this fascinating regenerative system.
With 12 years experience in teaching permaculture and a background in ecology and botany, Bodhi has a unique way of sharing this ecological and holistic approach to working with nature.
Brandon Bodhi Denton, known as Bodhi for short, is the director of True Nature Nusantara a Bali based permaculture design and consultancy company.
Bodhi has over 12 years experience as a permaculture designer & educator, with a passion for co-creating systems and experiences, which bring us back to our true nature as beneficial beings on planet earth.
With an educational background in botany and ecology, Bodhi’s love of nature guided him to permaculture design. He has taught permaculture in US public schools, and in various communities across Asia. His ecological work and community connections in Nepal and Bali led to his co-founding of the non-profit organization, Woven Earth, which is dedicated to fostering community-resilience and ecological-balance worldwide through regenerative methods.
Woven Earth has rebuilt over 30 homes in Nepal with earthquake resilient natural building techniques, installed model forest garden’s to benefit communities in Nepal, and educated hundreds of people in permaculture.
True Nature Nusantara has a growing team of local and international community that continue to co-create ecological systems and spread the knowledge of regenerative best practices for a better future in Bali.
In keeping with the social distancing protocols set by the Indonesian government, we are limiting the number of participants for our sessions in our forum.
