Balinese Boreh is an ancient preparation known for its many benefits. It improves blood circulation and brings warmth to the body providing a deep sense of relaxation. The stimulation to the cells in our bodies by the Boreh brings energy, clarity, and well-being.

This Balinese scrub is also used to clean pores promoting the release of toxins, resulting in deliciously fresh, smooth, and refined skin.

A 2-hour workshop by Made Ayu from Rumah Reina that will teach you how to make your own body scrub. You will also receive information about each of the ingredients provided and go through every step of the technique so that you can prepare your own Boreh at home.

A descendant of the Surakarta Palace (Central Java) and Balian ancestry, Ayu’s mission is to preserve her ancestral heritage. From her Balinese family here in Bali, she has learned how to make Boreh. Ayu is passionate about sharing these special healthy recipes for the benefit of the community. Made Ayu Aryani is a Jamu artisan and has been creating special recipes since 2012 at Rumah Reina.
