Changes have been made to the traffic organization at Bali airport. The boarding and disembarking process for domestic flights has been altered.
Now, the temporary passenger meeting zone is located on the eastern side of the domestic arrival area. Meanwhile, access for vehicles bringing passengers to the departure zone is through the western part of the domestic terminal.
The airport's CEO, Handi Heryuditiawan, explained that this temporary adjustment was made to improve conditions in the domestic arrival area.
In particular, the number of lanes for vehicle entry has been increased, and more convenient passages for passengers have been created. Navigation has also been enhanced. To aid this, the airport has installed signs to prevent passengers from getting lost. Additionally, airport staff can assist in directing passengers to their desired locations.
This optimization comes as a response to serious issues with passenger arrivals at the airport during the New Year transportation collapse.
